Abstract

著者는 파노라마 放射線撮影裝置의 像層面積을 硏究하는데 있어서 Panoura-Eight-5(日本
Yoshida製를 使用하여 8∼19個의 金屬핀을 꽂은 프라스틱 模型板을 撮影한 63장의 放射線
寫眞像을 4名의 觀察者에게 判讀을 依賴한 結果를 分析하여 다음과 같은 結論을 얻었다.
1. 가장 높은 鮮明度에 依해 이루어진 像層面積은 前方部位에서 連續되는 像을 나타내지
않았다.
2. 鮮明度가 適切한 像으로 이루어진 像層面積은 前方部位에서 約 13㎜이고 後方部位의
幅은 約 60㎜ 이었다.
3. 像層面積의 모양은 前方部位에서 좁고 後方部位에서는 바깥쪽으로 벌어져 兩側이 對稱
을 이루었다.
4. 前方部位는 最前方에서 約 18㎜後方부터 鮮明한 像이 나타났다.

In the study of the focal trough of panoramic radiograph using Panoura Eight-5 (the
Yoshida company), a series of 63 X-ray films were taken with the 8-19 metal pins
placed in the holes of the plastic model plate and evaluated by 4 observers.
The author analized the focal trough defined by the sharpness criteria and calculated
dimension of focal trough in the horizontal plane.
The results were as follows ;
1. Focal trough was not continued in the anterior region within a very high degree of
sharpness.
2. With optional sharpness, the width of anterior and posterior focal trough was
approximately 13 ㎜ and 60 ㎜ respectively,
3. The focal trough was narrow in the anterior region and was flared laterally with
symmetry in posterior region .
4. Sharp image began to show at the position of 18 ㎜m posteriorly from the most
anterior position of chin rest.
